Have you ever wondered why small talk is such a big deal for some people and feels completely pointless to others?
In our new video series, Susan (a retired autistic Occupational Therapist) and I are diving into everyday communication differences between autistic and non-autistic people. From greetings like “Hi, how are you?” to how relationships even get started, we’re unpacking what these interactions mean (or don’t mean) depending on how your brain works.
Our goal? To bridge the gap with real conversations from both perspectives—without saying one way is right or wrong.
If you're autistic and want to know why non-autistics do something, or you're non-autistic and want to understand how to connect in ways that feel respectful and real—we’re here for it.
